Its hard to believe that Caitlyn is one year old. I saw her at one hour old and my she has grown.
With the love of her parents, sister and 2 brothers she is advancing in leaps and bounds.
On average I have seen her every 2 weeks and to see the loving care and devotion that she gets at home I am truly proud.
The support from each organization associated with Caitlyn is overwelming to say the least.
I have 2 nicknames for Caitlyn, these being Miss C and scampie. She truly lives up to the second one with the way she smiles and giggles and her character is beginning to show.
>From being dark straight hair at birth to the curly brown haired little girl that she is now I am confident that she will develop into a knowledgable and learned girl, who will achieve whatever she sets out to do in later life.
The "path" of the past 12 months has been a learning curve for all of us and there are many more curves to be taken, however we take each curve as it comes.
Again I am so proud of "my family" in the way that they have adjusted to the fact that they have a VI child, however it has not stopped them in any way from enjoying their lives and taking Caitlyn out with them, after all she is one of them.
I love you all dearly and look forward to the next 12 months, of witnessing the development and growth of not only Caitlyn but of all of us as we learn with her.
Lots of love
Mooty
